You don’t know how how much real customer service and providing value matters until you’ve been through the wringer.

Until your business comes crashing down and you are left wondering how did I get here?

Any self-starter has been here. Any entrepreneur or salesperson has been here.

Every client counts. Every customer counts. You are only as good as how you are serving and paying attention to the client currently in front of you.

There’s a difference in saying “Put your customers first!” and putting it into action.

You can tell who “gets it” by those who are still around, for a long period of time.

The one’s who make it in self-starter style businesses are not looking for turnstile relationships. They are looking for long term, trust based relationships.

You have to go through the wringer in order to understand how much your customers really matter.

You cannot lose if you do more for others than anyone else and create a reputation in doing so.

“The man who does more than he is paid for will soon be paid for more than he does.” -Napoleon Hill

It’s all about developing the long term trust based relationships.

Give gifts to your clients.

In business, let’s normalize giving gifts, saying thank you, and showing love.

What’s going to help you serve your clients and employees the most is an attitude of gratitude.

Go outside, look at the sky, and appreciate how far you’ve come.

Breathe.

Be grateful. Grateful for your health, your mind, your knowledge, your relationships, your life experience. All of it.

Acknowledge your journey.

Create happiness each day. Feel the bliss.

There are many others who didn’t get to make it to today.

You have an opportunity.

To live, to plan, to grow. To get better.

Embrace it.

And then go back into the chaos and do it all again.
